Minefox is a digital mine operations suite that replaces spreadsheets, whiteboards, and verbal handoffs with structured workflows spanning planning through execution to performance analysis. Three integrated modules — FoxPlan, FoxOps, and FoxMetrics — form a closed-loop system where every plan, task, delay, and result is captured, connected, and available for review.

The Problem
Mine operations rely on a patchwork of disconnected tools. Shift plans live in spreadsheets that are out of date before the first blast fires. Handovers happen verbally at the crib room door, with critical context lost between crews. Short interval control is either non-existent or managed through paper-based processes that nobody reviews until the month-end report.
There is no real-time visibility into plan versus actual performance. Supervisors cannot see whether crews are executing the plan, where delays are accumulating, or which headings are falling behind schedule. When deviations occur, they are discovered hours or shifts later — too late to correct course.
Report compilation is manual and time-consuming. Production clerks spend hours collating data from multiple sources to build shift summaries, weekly reviews, and statutory reports. The numbers are often inconsistent because every source uses a different format, a different timestamp, or a different definition of the same metric.
Without structured data capture at the point of execution, there is no foundation for continuous improvement. The same problems recur shift after shift because there is no system to identify patterns, measure interventions, or close the loop between what was planned and what was achieved.
The Solution
Minefox provides a unified digital platform built on a cascade model: plans flow down from management to supervisors to crews, and execution data flows back up from the face to the control room to the boardroom. The three modules — FoxPlan, FoxOps, and FoxMetrics — work as a single integrated system.
FoxPlan builds multi-horizon shift schedules with resource allocation and targets. FoxOps cascades those tasks to crews on intrinsically safe mobile devices, capturing progress, delays, and handover notes in real time. FoxMetrics transforms that execution data into KPIs, dashboards, and automated reports. Insights from FoxMetrics feed directly back into FoxPlan, closing the loop and enabling data-driven planning.
Key Capabilities
Deployment
Minefox is deployed on-premise or in a private cloud environment, depending on site infrastructure and connectivity requirements. The system supports air-gapped mine networks where internet access is restricted or unavailable, with local synchronisation between the web application and IS mobile devices over the mine LAN.
Licensing is annual and site-based. A single licence covers all three modules — FoxPlan, FoxOps, and FoxMetrics — for the site, with no per-user or per-device limits. Implementation includes calibration to the site’s organisational structure, shift patterns, and reporting requirements.
