Minefox operates on a closed-loop cascade model where planning data flows downstream from management through supervisors to crews, and execution data flows back upstream from the face to the control room. Every plan, task, delay, and result passes through a single integration layer, ensuring that the entire operation works from one source of truth.
How It Works
System Components
| Module | Function | Key Capabilities |
|---|---|---|
| FoxPlan | Shift scheduling and target setting | Multi-horizon planning, resource allocation, plan vs actual tracking, schedule cascading |
| FoxOps | Execution and real-time data capture | Digital handovers, short interval control, statutory reporting, IS mobile application |
| FoxMetrics | Performance measurement and reporting | Custom KPI definitions, real-time dashboards, automated report generation, AI summaries |

Architecture
Minefox is a web application served from an on-premise or private cloud deployment. The IS mobile application runs on intrinsically safe Android devices and synchronises with the server over the mine LAN. When network connectivity is intermittent — common in underground environments — the mobile app queues data locally and syncs automatically when the connection is restored.
The system supports fully air-gapped mine networks with no internet dependency. All processing, storage, and analytics run within the site boundary. For sites with external connectivity, private cloud deployment is available with encrypted data transmission over TLS 1.3.
Changes in one module propagate to the others automatically, without manual intervention or batch processing delays.
